Amazon has finally confirmed the details about Amazon Prime Day 2019: The big day will start at midnight PST (3 a.m. EST) on Monday, July 15, and last until 11:59 PST on Tuesday, July 16 (2:59 a.m. EST on July 17) . Prepare to not blink for two days straight.
The summer shopping event feels just as engraved in our brains as Black Friday, so it's always a shocker to remember that Prime Day has only been around since 2015. Somehow, in less than five years, Amazon has managed to get us just invested in the Prime Day reveal as we are in seeing pictures of the royal baby for the first time.
If you haven't participated in Prime Day before, here's a rundown: It's like the summer version of Black Friday or Cyber Monday, except it's an Amazon-only holiday where the golden ticket is, obviously, an Amazon Prime account.
