The Earth continues to drop casual hints about climate change, including a gigantic hailstorm in Alberta, Canada on Friday. The city of Edmonton was quickly placed under tornado watch, but in the meantime, residents found themselves the recipients of massive hail stones.

The hail stones were large enough to use for baseball, or cricket, or whatever they play in your part of the world – that's not important right now! They were a far cry from normal, pebble-sized hail stones, and in fact stretch the definition of the word "stone." Read more...
