Unlike most people’s morning routines, his rush hour journey is neither long nor stressful. But then again, Cuthbert isn’t a person. And his commute is best described as a gentle waddle from barn to farmyard.
Cuthbert is a goose. Not just any goose, though. He’s a TikTok-famous goose.
The daily rush hour at Caenhill farm in Devizes, Wiltshire in the southwest of England, has stolen the internet’s heart, becoming an overnight sensation on TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram.
In his videos, farmer Chris Franklin often asks, “Who’s going to be first out today?” as he unbolts the barn door. Chickens rush out the moment the door swings open, followed swiftly by Smudge and Socks, two tiny, fluffy kittens, who come bounding out at breakneck speed. Next come Gilbert and Sully, two of the geese, with Ken the Rooster strutting behind them with an admirable amount of confidence. As runner ducks waddle out, Franklin yells, “Where’s Cuthbert?
