The Mandalorian returns to Disney+ for its second season on Friday, Oct. 30 — and while we couldn't be more excited to reunite with The Child, his father, and Carl Weathers, we're probably not alone in needing a little refresher on what last happened to them.

This is the (name)
No Mandalorian is actually named Mando, no matter how jauntily Carl Weathers says it. His real name is Din Djarin, and he wasn't born on Mandalore, but raised by Mandalorians after his parents died.
He also has a face! We here in the Milky Way galaxy knew that Pedro Pascal was the face behind the helmet, but true to his credo, our hero didn't reveal himself to any living being in Season 1.
