SAVE $40: Typically $99.99, Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is on sale at Walmart for just $59.99 as of Aug. 24 — that's a 40% savings.
One big box store just lobbed the discount equivalent of a blue shell at Nintendo's most expensive Super Mario game for the Switch console.
As of Aug. 24, Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit was on sale at Walmart for just $59.99 — that's 40% off its suggested retail price of $99.99, which is its biggest markdown to date. (For comparison's sake, it's never dipped below $74.99 on Amazon since debuting last October.)
This means the augmented reality racer is now the same price as every other (non-AR) first-party Switch game, which feels almost as rare as placing first on Rainbow Road at 200cc.
Mario Kart Live actually takes RR (and all of the other usual Mario Kart maps) out of the equation entirely — instead, you'll be racing laps on custom tracks you've created IRL. Place the four included gates under furniture and around corners to chart a course on your floor, then watch it come alive with virtual boosts, obstacles, and environments on your Switch screen as you use the console to steer the included RC car around the room; there's a little camera on top of its Mario figurine that puts you in the driver's seat. (Peep the trailer below for a demo.)
Hit the link below to take advantage of this best-ever pricing — we doubt it'll hang around for long.
