Save $30 on the Turtle Beach Stealth 600s, plus other budget gaming headsets on sale

Gaming headset product photo

As of Jan. 20, multiple budget gaming headsets are on sale — here are three of our favorites that you can shop right now:

A gaming headset may be considered "just an accessory," but we think having one is an absolute must — even if you only play casually. Whether you're into multiplayer games like Call of Duty: Warzone or all about single-player titles like The Last of Us, a decent gaming headset is always going to improve your overall experience.

And now is a great time to pick one up, because we found a few really solid budget options that are on sale as we speak. Take a look at what we dug up below, and snag one before they're no longer discounted.

Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2

Why we like it

For a wireless headset that's on the cheaper side, the Turtle Beach Stealth 600s are pretty fantastic. Connection is extremely simple — just plug the USB transmitter into your console, connect via Bluetooth, and you're good to go. The headset's glasses-friendly design is a huge bonus when it comes to the comfort factor, and its 15-hour battery life is nothing to scoff at. You'll also get a flip-to-mute microphone, as well as Turtle Beach's patented Superhuman Hearing feature that is a match made in heaven with your favorite battle royale game.

HyperX Cloud II

Why we like it

We love the HyperX Cloud II for its overall comfort and passive noise-cancelation. The headset is constructed with memory foam ear cushions, as well as a padded leatherette headband that makes the headset comfortable enough for long gaming sessions. The Cloud II also features 7.1 virtual surround sound and a detachable, noise-canceling microphone (in addition to those lovely passive noise-canceling earcups).

Razer BlackShark V2 X

Why we like it

The Razer BlackShark V2 X is another great wired headset option like the HyperX Cloud II, but at less than half the price. Its highlights include cross-platform compatibility with all consoles (and PC), a Hyperclear cardioid microphone, 7.1 surround sound positional audio, passive noise-cancelation, and a lightweight (yet very durable) construction. These are really comfy, too.
