Stephen Colbert — technically a boomer — breaks down the 'OK, Boomer' discourse

Gen Z have had it with baby boomers. So much so that they've come up with a new generational insult that'll give "snowflake" a run for its money: "OK, Boomer." 

The Late Show host Stephen Colbert concedes in his segment that he's technically a "Boomer" (he was born in 1964, the final year of in the baby boom generational window). 

"The internet continues to innovate ways to make each other feel bad and the latest sensation is to dismiss older people by saying 'OK, Boomer' as in baby boomers. Pretty good diss," says Colbert. 

"Still not as good as the Boomer diss for millennials: 'Hey, we've permanently destroyed the housing market,'" he adds.  Read more...
