Waze brings back Cookie Monster to give you driving directions

If the scraggly voice of Sesame Street's Cookie Monster is what brings you joy, you're in luck.

The hungry muppet with a sweet tooth is back to read turn-by-turn directions on the navigation app Waze. He took a short hiatus after first showing off his navigational skills this summer.

It's not just "om nom noms" and "me want cookies," but honest driving directions to get you where you're going. The friendly monster's voice (and mood) is available in the voice and sound settings within the app starting Monday in honor of Cookie Monster's birthday.
