After 10 years of no Hummers, we've now got an electric Hummer and an inspirational speech by LeBron James to get you pumped about it. Yes, the discontinued gas-guzzler was officially revived this week. But now it's an all-electric, battery-powered vehicle.
During the Super Bowl, GMC will tease the electrified SUV, even though the official Hummer unveiling won't happen until May 20 at the Detroit-area plant where the car will eventually be produced.
So far GMC didn't share much about the revamped beast except for a shot of the front grille and select stats, like how it can reach 0 to 60 mph in three seconds. Nothing yet about battery size or range. We'll have to see how it stacks up against Tesla's Cybertruck. Read more...
